PERFORMANCE CAMP
An Off-Site Team Development Experience
Team Bonding. Competition. Leadership. Built Through Shared Experience.

Performance Camp is where Mayhem teams build the foundation for the season together. Players step away from the normal gym routine to compete in survivor-style challenges, learn basketball concepts, create team standards, discuss the season ahead, complete NCAA registration work when needed, and take part in camp games designed to build trust.
It is competitive, intentional, and built around one goal: creating a team that is connected, accountable, and ready to work for each other.
What Happens at Performance Camp
Performance Camp combines competitive challenges, basketball learning, and team planning to prepare players for the season together.

Teamwork & Communication
Performance Camp creates the moments teams cannot get during a normal practice. Players compete under pressure, solve problems together, communicate when things get difficult, and learn how their individual effort affects the entire group.
The goal is bigger than having fun away from the gym. It is to build trust, reinforce accountability, and create habits that carry into every practice, game, and difficult moment of the season.
Build the Standard

At Performance Camp, teams do not just talk about standards. Players create them together, test them through shared challenges, and learn what it takes to depend on each other when the work gets difficult.
One Team. One Standard.
Performance Camp is included as part of the Texas Mayhem program experience.

Performance Camp brings every player into the season with a shared understanding of what it means to represent Mayhem. Players leave with ownership of the standards, effort, and accountability they commit to as a team.
Parent chaperones help support a structured, safe environment throughout the experience.
