HOW FALL PRACTICE TEAMS WORK

Skills Development Meets Team Basketball

Fall Practice Teams are built for players who want to improve their individual game while also learning how to play within a team.

Players will practice Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 6:00 PM at Gene Pike Middle School.

Some practice nights will focus on individual skill development, including ball handling, shooting, finishing, passing, footwork, defense, and game-speed decision-making.

Other nights will use team-focused drills to teach players how to space the floor, move without the ball, communicate, defend, make reads, and understand the purpose behind the actions they will see in middle school and high school basketball.

Players do not have to choose between getting better individually and learning how to play with others. They get both.
